Cold Mornings, Clear Days in Weekend Forecast

The daytime highs aren't expected to quite reach the 70s.

Brisk weather is in the forecast for the entire Tampa Bay region as the weekend gets under way.

According to the National Weather Service, Friday will be the chilliest with highs only in the mid-60s throughout much of the Bay. The overnight low is expected to drop down into the low 40s with cooler temperatures likely in northern parts of the region.

Saturday brings a slight warming with a high expected to climb to the upper 60s. Sunshine is on tap for the daytime hours and the evening is anticipated to be a clear one with a low down in the mid-40s.

Sunday is expected to bring slightly warmer temperatures and similar clear conditions.

As of Friday morning, the workweek was anticipated to get a nice start with sunshine and a high in the upper 60s.
