After a too quick visit to this new property I am completely impressed and cannot wait to return.
The hotel is stunning, the views unparalleled and delicious food and drinks round out the experience. The property was developed by the family who owned much of Rocky Point and they saved the best for last.
Let's start with the lobby. Gorgeous! This stunning book matching effect is achieved when a block of veined marble is cut into slabs.

Rox Rooftop Bar
Tampa Bay's tallest rooftop bar has impressive views of all of Tampa Bay. This is going to be a go to spot for sunsets and storm watching. You can see both the Tampa and St. Pete skylines as well as the upper Tampa Bay area from this amazing new vista. 
Jilian Restaurant
Featuring international small bites inspired by local flavors is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
House made Cavatelli +wild mushrooms +shaved Pecorino cheese + thyme +Tampa whiskey + Amish cream and black truffles was decadent and delicious. I could barely finish the half portion.
Watermelon and heirloom tomatoes + leche de tigre + organic feta + arugula + mint +currents olive oil
Waygu burger- grilled portobello + local buffalo mozzarella _ heirloom tomato + Nueske's bacon + avocado aioli + brioche bun + hand cut fries
Last but not least dessert -poached pear with mascarpone and banana bread.
The Current Hotel at Rocky Point is a destination for local residents as much as for tourist. I recommend visiting soon before the word is spread.
