Davis Island Man, 2 Dogs Die From Carbon Monoxide Poisoning
A Davis Island woman is the only survivor of carbon monoxide poisoning from a running vehicle that killed a man and two dogs.

TAMPA, FL -- A Davis Island woman is the only survivor of carbon monoxide poisoning from a running vehicle that killed a man and two dogs.
Tampa Police and fire rescue paramedics responded to a call at a home at 114 E. Davis Blvd. on Monday, Jan. 7 at 9:44 a.m. regarding a 55-year-old man who was unconscious.
Upon arrival, they found the man and two dogs dead. A 53-year-old woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Several first-responders were also transported to the hospital for observation.

Police say a vehicle left running in the garage is most likely the source of the carbon monoxide poisoning. No foul play is suspected at this time, however, the investigation is still ongoing.
