Dead Baby Found On University Of Tampa Campus: Reports

TAMPA, FL — A baby was found dead on the University of Tampa campus late Sunday night, according to multiple reports.

The abandoned child’s body was found near McKay Hall, a campus residence hall for first-year students, Fox 13 reported.

Students received a text alert about the investigation just before midnight.

A Tampa spokesperson told Bay News 9 that there’s no threat to the public.

The investigation continues Monday morning and UT security guards are monitoring all entrances to the campus, WFLA said.
