Deputies ID Woman Killed In Double Shooting

A man, also shot, is in stable condition after the early morning incident in Tampa.

TAMPA, FL – The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is investigating a morning double shooting that killed one woman and injured one man.

Deputies this afternoon officially identified the female victim as Banesa Martinez Herrera, 30 of Tampa.

The second victim, an adult male, is in stable condition and is expected to survive, the agency said. His name was not released.

Deputies were called at 2 a.m. to the 1500 block of Wishing Well Way in Tampa and found the two victims. Both were transported to local hospitals.
