Diamond Resorts Invitational Tickets on Sale for Orlando Tourney

For golf zealots in the Orlando/Tampa-St. Pete area, tickets for the Diamond Resorts Invitational benefiting Florida Hospital for Children (January 13-15) professional golf tournament are available online at www.DiamondResortsInvitational.com and at Walgreens stores in Central Florida. From PGA champions like John Daly and Mark Calcavecchia to a bevy of baseball standouts including John Smoltz, Reggie Jackson, Justin Verlander, Brian McCann and Terry Francona, you won't want to miss this three-day extravaganza. The Golf Channel will televise for those who can't make it to the sun-drenched tourney.

The $1.25 million competition featuring PGA TOUR Champions’ players (over 50), LPGA players and top-tier celebrities is open to the public Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Tranquilo Golf Club at Four Seasons Resort Orlando. Free parking is available at Walt Disney World’s® Magic Kingdom.

Parking is free with presentation of valid ticket (from Walgreens or printed out at home) at the Magic Kingdom parking gate. Digital signage will direct spectators to specific parking area and shuttle buses will provide transportation to and from Tranquilo Golf Club.

The 54-hole tournament is a PGA TOUR Champions’ Challenge Season event attracting prominent players including John Daly, Colin Montgomerie, Kenny Perry, John Cook, Lee Janzen, Jeff Sluman and Mark Calcavecchia.
LPGA players competing are Lexi Thompson, Brittany Lang and Brittany Lincicome.
