Duffels Of Dignity Program Launched To Help At-Risk Youth
The new Hillsborough County program collects duffel bags and suitcases for children in foster care or escaping domestic violence.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — Hillsborough County Children's Services announced the launching of a new program, Duffels of Dignity, to collect donations of new or gently used duffel bags, suitcases and personal care items for children in foster care or who are escaping domestic violence and homelessness.
Often, these children do not have luggage to store their belongings and, instead, use garbage bags to carry their few personal items, according to children's services.
