DUI Wolfpack Set to Prowl Friday
The effort to crackdown on impaired driving will span several Tampa Bay area counties.

Tampa Bay area residents with partying plans in mind for the upcoming weekend will want to make sure to designate a driver before heading out the door.
The Florida Highway Patrol has announced plans to conduct a DUI Wolfpack operation starting Friday, Sept. 25 around 10 p.m. and ending Saturday morning around 3. The operation, based out of the Land O’ Lakes sub-district, will focus on Pasco, Hillsborough, Hernando and Polk counties, the patrol wrote in a media release.
Troopers plan to concentrate their efforts on three main roads: the Veterans Express, the Suncoast Parkway and the Polk Parkway.

DUI wolfpacks are enhanced enforcement efforts designed to crackdown on impaired driving.
The patrol urges motorists to designate drivers or use taxi services instead of driving impaired. Motorists who encounter impaired drivers on the roads are asked to contact FHP by calling *FHP from their cellphones.
