Eat In Or Take Out Thanksgiving Dinner From Tampa Bay Restaurants

Many Tampa Bay restaurants are offering Thanksgiving spreads or takeout dinners this year.

TAMPA BAY, FL — A day spent toiling in the kitchen to prepare a Thanksgiving meal isn't for everyone. Many families prefer to skip the cooking and treat themselves to a Thanksgiving feast at a favorite restaurant. Or, better yet, use the takeout option many restaurants are offering this year and pretend you made it.

Here are some restaurants serving Thanksgiving meals or offering takeout:

Flor Fina

Flor Fina, 1412 E. 7th Ave., Ybor City’s newest dining destination located inside the recently opened Hotel Haya and overseen by Executive Chef Douglas Rodriguez, acclaimed as the “Godfather of Nuevo Latino Cuisine," will host a special Thanksgiving meal.

Menu highlights include chorizo cornbread stuffing and maple bourbon pecan pie. The special three-course menu is $65 per person. Reservations are encouraged, but not required. The regular Flor Fina menu will also be available.

Additionally, Cafe Quiquiriqui, the hotel’s Cuban cafe that serves as a neighborhood gathering spot, is offering homemade pies (pumpkin and pecan) for takeout through Nov. 26. Pie slices will be available for $5 and whole pies for $40 for pre-orders. A 48-hour notice is required on whole pie orders and a 72-hour cut-off applies for any Thanksgiving pre-orders.

RumFish Grill

Tradewinds Resort's RumFish Grill, 6000 Gulf Blvd., St Pete Beach, will offer a traditional Thanksgiving feast Thursday featuring roasted Tom turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potato, green beans, sage stuffing, cranberry sauce and giblet gravy for $29 per person.

Or go for the nontraditional and choose Rumfish's tenderloin and lobster with crab-stuffed lobster, a 5-ounce filet, asparagus coconut rice and Bearnaise sauce for $55. Dessert is sweet potato maple cheesecake.

Palm Court Italian Grill

The Tradewinds Resort's Palm Court Italian Grill also will offer a traditional turkey dinner with house or Caesar salad, olive bread, roasted Tom turkey with sage dressing, mashed potatoes with giblet gravy and fresh green beans topped off with harvest pumpkin pie for dessert for $38.

As an alternative, the restaurant will offer a rack of lamb dinner featuring a house or Caesar salad, olive bread, rack of New Zeland lamb with persillade, roasted rosemary potatoes with a red wine demi glaze, baby fall vegetables and harvest pumpkin pie for $44.

Naked Farmer

Naked Farmer’s new Thanksgiving menu is available throughout the month of November. The menu consists of a Thanksgiving bowl, as well as a Friendsgiving package - each sourced locally and ethically in alignment with Naked Farmer’s mission to build a better food system.

Naked Farmer’s Thanksgiving bowl features roasted turkey breast, pumpkin farro, charred broccoli with lemon and garlic, roasted sweet potatoes, Florida orange corn bread with Florida oranges and Roselle flower chutney. Roselle flowers, otherwise known as “Florida Cranberries,” are sourced locally from Worden Farms.

The bowls are priced at $16 each and $3 from each bowl will be donated to Metropolitan Ministries, to help homeless and at risk residents.

The Friendsgiving package makes it easy for people to throw their own Friendsgiving and leave the cooking to the Naked Farmer. Each package will include roasted turkey breast, pumpkin farro, charred broccoli with lemon and garlic, roasted sweet potatoes, Florida orange corn bread with Florida oranges and Roselle flower chutney. Add-ons include Gala Apple Pie bars for dessert and wine. Packages are available for four, 10 and 20 people and start at $65.

Elevage

Tampa’s Epicurean Hotel and signature restaurant, Élevage, 1207 S. Howard Ave., Tampa, is hosting a special Thanksgiving Day feast available as family-style dine-in or to-go. Priced at $59 for adults and $25 for children 12 and under, the meal includes:

  • Autumn Salad – hearty greens, endive, radicchio, winter squash, radish, torn croutons, goat cheese, pomegranate pepitas, apple cider vinaigrette
  • Roasted Whole Gobbler – selection of white and dark meat, pork sausage stuffing, giblet gravy, cranberry relish
  • Blackstrap Glazed Ham – cippolini and chestnut marmalade
  • Or Bern’s dry-aged ribeye – 16-ounce cut with black garlic, charred scallion, horseradish crème, bordelaise (there's a nominal up-charge for this selection).
  • Green beans – foraged mushrooms, fried shallot
  • Roasted Brussels sprouts – smoked chilis, local palmetto honey, toasted almonds, sumac
  • Sweet potato casserole – toasted pecans, smoked maple butter, marshmallow brûlée
  • Haricots verts – forest mushrooms, tobacco onions
  • Soubise whipped potatoes – roasted garlic, crème fraiche
  • Fresh-baked breads – whipped apple and cinnamon butter
  • Dessert table of assorted pies and sweets

Elevage will serve from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thanksgiving Day. There's complimentary valet parking until 7 p.m.

Fuzzy's Taco Shop

Who says you have to have a traditional Thanksgiving meal? Fuzzy’s Taco Shop is taking away the stress of meal planning this holiday season with its Baja-inspired family meals. The taco shop’s Taco Family Meals and Fajita Family Meals allow families to spend less time in the kitchen and more time enjoying each other’s company around the dinner table.

Both packages are available in two sizes: regular (serves four to six people) and large (serves six to eight) and can be ordered online at www.FuzzysTacoShop.com or by calling your local shop to place your order. The family meals are available at participating locations and pricing may vary by location.

The Taco Family Meal is available for $35 for regular size and $50 for large, and includes:

  • Choice of two meats – shredded chicken, seasoned ground beef, spicy pork or grilled veggies (fajita beef, fajita chicken or shredded brisket are available for an additional charge)

Paul's Landing

Paul’s Landing at The Vinoy Renaissance Golf and Resort Club, 501 5th Ave. N.E., St. Petersburg, will serve Floridian-inspired Thanksgiving specials, including citrus-brined smoked turkey with garlic mashed potatoes, corn bread stuffing, Southern-style green beans and a blood orange-cranberry relish. Dessert will be a decadent pumpkin mousse with graham cracker crumble and cinnamon whipped cream.

Paul’s Landing will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving, and guests can opt to dine inside or on the restaurant’s oversized patio. Takeout is available for those who’d rather eat at home.

The Vinoy is hosting a Thanksgiving buffet meal in its newly renovated Grand Ballroom exclusively for hotel guests and Vinoy Club members. On Thanksgiving Day, the Vinoy will offer a socially distanced buffet of the holiday classics, featuring turkey and prime rib carving stations and all of the traditional side dishes and desserts. The meal, offered at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., will be accompanied by live music, creating a festive atmosphere for all.

Don CeSar

The Don CeSar's Maritana restaurant and Rowe Bar, 3400 Gulf Blvd., St .Pete Beach, are offering two price-fixed menus.

For $63, Maritana offers up a choice of pan-seared scallops or venison carpaccio with orange cranberry sorbet and choice of turkey roulade or lamb shank. Finish it off with a honey-crusted rye tart or apple butter pumpkin pie.

For $52, Rowe Bar is offering a choice of spiced carrot bisque or baby butter lettuce with confit of turkey breast and pecan pumpkin pie.

Metro Diner

Metro Diner at 4011 W. Kennedy Blvd., Tampa, and 5250 4th St. N., St. Petersburg, is offering dine in or takeout holiday feasts featuring baked ham or roasted turkey with cranberry sauce and sides including mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, corn bread stuffing and pumpkin pie.

Meals for four are $55.99 and meals for eight are $109.99. Metro Diner also offer a unique individual meal featuring a waffle made from stuffing, topped with mashed potatoes and gravy, roasted turkey and a side of cranberry sauce. SHOR American Seafood and Grill

SHOR American Seafood and Grill at Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa, 301 S. Gulfview Blvd., Clearwater, is offering your choice of a three-tier family-style dinner. Tier one includes a salad, bread and dinner of turkey, prime rib, gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, vegetables and pie. Tier two adds a charcuterie board, soup and ice cream. Eddie V’s

Eddie V’s, 4400 W. Boy Scout Blvd., Tampa, is offering four-course family-style Thanksgiving bundles for takeout, which can also be ordered as a dine-in platter for one. Bundles and platters feature your choice of turkey or whole beef tenderloin served with butternut squash, stuffing, cranberry sauce and a pumpkin pie. Bahama Breeze

Bahama Breeze at 3045 N. Rocky Point E., Tampa, and 25830 Sierra Center Blvd., Lutz, is offering an island-inspired Thanksgiving dinner family bundle to-go, which can also be ordered as a dine-in platter for one at select locations. The bundle includes sliced turkey, green beans, corn bread stuffing, cranberry-pineapple chutney, a choice of mashed potatoes or cinnamon mashed sweet potatoes and four slices of pumpkin praline cheesecake. Boston Market

Boston Market, better known this time of year as the “Holiday Experts,” is helping to bring the entire family around the table this Thanksgiving with countless holiday meal options to suit every celebration need without breaking the bank.

Nearly all Boston Market locations will be open on Thanksgiving Day (menu selections and hours may vary by location) to offer guests a traditional plated holiday meal featuring sliced roasted turkey breast or half signature rotisserie chicken, two sides, a dinner roll and a slice of apple or pumpkin pie for $13.99. In addition, an array of heat-and-serve meals, whole pies, hot side dishes and appetizers can be picked up on or before Thanksgiving Day while supplies last. Finally, there are complete meal options that feed as many as 12 people available for home delivery.

Ruth's Chris Steakhouse

Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, 1700 N. Westshore Blvd., Tampa, will be serving a dine-in, three-course Thanksgiving meal at all open U.S. locations, featuring a classic menu of sliced oven roasted turkey, Ruth’s sausage and herb stuffing, homemade gravy, cranberry relish, appetizers, sides and desserts. Priced at $41.95 per adult and $14.95 per child, each turkey entrée also includes a helping of “leftovers,” allowing guests to skip the cooking without missing any of the traditions that often follow a home-cooked meal.

Macaroni Grill

Macaroni Grill at 14904 N. Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa, is giving everyone something to be grateful for this Thanksgiving with an array of options. The restaurant will be open on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., serving up a traditional Thanksgiving three-course prix fixe menu including soup or salad, roasted turkey breast, garlic mashed potatoes, sausage and apple stuffing, Brussels sprouts or broccolini and dessert for only $24.99 per person.

Those looking to celebrate from home and skip the cooking can take advantage of a special take-and-warm turkey feast with all the fixings to feed five or 10 people starting at $95 for five and $190 for 10. Once home, simply heat according to the included instructions or freeze for up to six weeks, thawing and baking once needed. Kona Grill is offering the ultimate Thanksgiving feast Nov. 25 - 29. Guests can eat, drink and give thanks with a special menu featuring Kona Grill’s macadamia nut turkey ($26 for adults, $14 for kids), traditional roasted turkey ($24 for adults, $14 for kids), Turkey Loco ($26) and macadamia nut pie ($12). This year, BRIO Italian Grille, 2223 N. Westshore Blvd. in International Plaza, Tampa invites you to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving Feast from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. It is offering a traditional Thanksgiving feast, featuring turkey, all of the trimmings and dessert for $28.99 per person. Or, if you’d rather eat at home, you can place your Thanksgiving feast order to go and pick it up between Nov. 23-26. This year, you can enjoy Thanksgiving at one of the more than 660 Cracker Barrel locations. You can choose a traditional turkey and dressing dinner or the new country-fried turkey meal. You can also choose a large family feast ($139.99 serving eight to 10 people) or the small family dinner ($76.99 serving four to six people) to be picked up in advance then heated and served at home. Del Frisco's Grille

Del Frisco’s Grille, 4138 W Boy Scout Blvd., Tampa, is offering a Thanksgiving prix-fixe menu starting at $39 per person. Start with the butternut squash bisque with maple mascarpone cream and spiced pumpkin seeds. Enjoy roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce and a choice of side. Offering to take care of the holiday cooking for you, Seasons 52 at 204 Westshore Plaza, Tampa, is boxing up Thanksgiving classics like roasted turkey, housemade cranberry relish, mashed butternut squash, choice of salad and a pumpkin pie mini indulgence. Serving four to six people for $150, boxes are available for pickup on Nov. 24 and 25 but can be pre-ordered now. Seasons 52 is also open on Thanksgiving. Be sure to make your reservation.

The Capital Grille

You take care of the bird, and The Capital Grille, 2223 N. Westshore Blvd., Tampa, will have your back on the sides. The Capital Grille sides include brioche stuffing, gravy, French green beans with Marcona almonds, cranberry-pear chutney, Sam’s mashed potatoes, pecan-crusted sweet potatoes with hot honey and seeded rolls, serving between four to six people for $125.

Or leave the cooking to The Capital Grille. Beginning at 11 a.m., join The Capital Grille as its serves a traditional Thanksgiving dinner in its dining rooms. You can always count on Denny’s to be open on Thanksgiving. This year, Denny's has added turkey and dressing to its menu so you can either go the traditional route, or veer off in your own direction.

Carrabba's Italian Grill

Presenting alternatives to the traditional Thanksgiving meal, Carrabba’s is offering eight Family Bundles including lasagne, chicken Parmesan and salmon saporito. These bundles serve up to five people, come with a fresh salad and bread and start at $34.99. start at $34.99. You can either pick up your feast at the restaurant or have it delivered.

Give your local Popeyes a call and see if it has its famous Cajun-style turkey at your nearest store. The famous turkeys weigh between 13 and 16 pounds and prices start at $39.99. Order here.

Village Inn

Reserve your Thanksgiving pie from Village Inn at its special pie reservation web page or order online. Reservations are taken up to 14 days in advance of the pickup date and online orders must be placed within seven days of pickup.

Wawa

If limiting your turkey consumption to one day is too restrictive, stop by any of the 900 Wawa locations for a Gobbler Hoagie or Gobbler Bowl. The Gobbler Bowl is made with hot turkey, gravy and potatoes.

Whole Foods

A wide variety of complete holiday meals can be ordered at Whole Foods from a paleo-friendly turkey dinner serving four people for $89.99 to a festive feast serving 12 for $279.99. Be sure to order your Thanksgiving meal, sides or desserts 48 hours in advance. You can pick it up until Nov. 26.
