Expedia CruiseShipCenters, South Tampa Partners with Charity to Provide Hurricane Relief for Children

Expedia CruiseShipCenters, South Tampa and OASIS Collect Personal Necessities for Underprivileged and Homeless Children

The Expedia CruiseShipCenters, South Tampa, part of Expedia Inc., the largest travel company in the world and OASIS Network (Outreach Assisting Students in Schools) are partnering to provide personal necessities to the underprivileged and homeless students affected by Hurricane Irma in Hillsborough County.

With the wreckage and rising flood waters from the storm, OASIS and Expedia CruiseShipCenters, South Tampa are collecting items such as soap, toothbrushes, lotion, shampoo, deodorant and clothing items such as socks, shirts, and gift cards.

“It’s hard enough as it is for the underprivileged and homeless children in Hillsborough County,” said Dean Hanson, owner of Expedia CruiseShipCenters, South Tampa. “We wanted to collect donations to help lift some of the burden off of the children and their families in any way possible. We’re appreciative of even the smallest of donations. A little can go a long way.”
