At its annual holiday social at the Tampa Yacht and Country Club on Dec. 11, the Tampa Bay Chapter of Financial Executives International (FEI) exceeded its goal in collecting donations for nonprofit Metropolitan Ministries.
FEI’s donation drive goal was to raise $1,000 so that four families can participate in Metropolitan Ministries’ Employment Boot Camp. The weeklong program helps Metropolitan Ministries’ clients, many of them homeless and living at the family shelter, how to write a resume, search for jobs and practice interviewing.
“FEI is committed to reaching out and making philanthropic contributions in the Tampa Bay community,” said Brian Adamski, president of FEI – Tampa Bay. “The benefits reach far beyond the selected charity, and FEI is proud to make philanthropy one of its strategic goals. We’re pleased to do our part to support Metropolitan Ministries and its mission to help individuals earn gainful employment.”
