Ferlita Fishing Tournament Raises $70,000 for Pediatric Cancer Foundation

The Johnny Ferlita Memorial Fishing Tournament is a one-day, catch-and-release tournament for Redfish, Snook, and Trout honoring the life of beloved “Speed King of the Waterways,” Johnny Ferlita benefiting the Pediatric Cancer Foundation. The tournament began at 6:30 p.m., Friday, May 15, 2015 at the Tampa Yacht and Country Club with a Captain’s Party. Fishing kicked off at 7:00 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2015. The weekend raised more than $70,000. Since 2001, the Johnny Ferlita Memorial Fishing Tournament has raised more than $740,000 for pediatric cancer research.
