Fight Huntington's Disease by Walking at Lowry Park!
Grassroots fundraiser to assists families affected by Huntington's Disease. The event promotes awareness of this devastating disease
Join us in the fight against Huntington’s Disease (HD) at the Huntington’s Disease Society of America (HDSA) Tampa Team Hope Walk on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Lowry Park Zoo, 1101 West Sligh Avenue in Tampa, FL at 11 am (check-in at 10 am). This grassroots fundraiser helps HDSA provide services and resources to those affected by HD, a fatal genetic disorder that causes a breakdown in the brain’s nerve cells.
Cost is $20 for adults, $10 for students ages 5 through age 18, and children 4 years and under are free of charge. Register by May 31st and receive a $5 discount in honor of HD Awareness Month. Participants that register by August 25th are guaranteed an event t-shirt. Continental breakfast will be served.
