Firefighters Douse Flames At Tampa Motel
Guests were evacuated from the Swan Motel in Tampa when a two-alarm fire broke out during the early-morning hours Wednesday.

TAMPA, FL — Guests were evacuated from the Swan Motel in Tampa when a two-alarm fire broke out during the early-morning hours Wednesday.
Tampa Fire Rescue crews responded to the hotel at 6407 N. Nebraska Ave. at 12:52 a.m. to find heavy smoke coming from the north side of the single-story multi-unit motel.
Fire officials said the source of the fire was a common attic. Investigators believe the fire was possibly caused by an electrical malfunction.

The fire was brought under control by 1:20 a.m. There were no injuries.
