Florida's Largest Law Firm Leases 42,500 Square Feet In Westshore 500

TAMPA, FL — Cole, Scott & Kissane P.A., Florida’s largest law firm by attorney headcount, has leased 42,500 square feet of office space at Westshore 500, 500 N Westshore Blvd. in Tampa.

The law firm is relocating from 49,700 square feet of space at Corporate Center IV at International Plaza in Tampa.

It will be the largest tenant of Westshore 500, occupying the fifth and seventh floors, as well as a portion of the sixth floor, and housing over 100 attorneys, plus staff. The move is expected to be completed in August 2023.

Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A. was represented by JLL Managing Directors Caleb Lewis and Gary Godsey. Colliers International’s Claire Calzon, Executive Managing Director, and Joanne LeBlanc, Director, represented the building’s ownership, The Green Companies.

“This relocation coincides with the increasing trend of how law firms are becoming more efficient now that attorneys and staff are coming back to work in greater numbers,” said JLL’s Caleb Lewis, Managing Director at JLL. “The firm’s new space will have a more efficient layout, offering more room for additional attorneys.”

JLL, a professional services firm specializing in real estate and investment management, handled the lease, which it announced Wednesday.

Westshore 500 is a 10-story office building with a total of 130,350 square feet.
