Girl, 17, Wanted For Infant’s Death: Hillsborough County Sheriff
An infant's caretaker, a 17-year-old girl, is wanted in connection with the child's death, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.
TAMPA, FL — Investigators are asking for the public’s help in locating the suspect in the death of a 6-month-old child earlier this year, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office wrote in a Facebook post.
Sandra Jimenez Lopez, 17, the infant’s caretaker, is wanted for child neglect with great bodily harm after the death was ruled a homicide, the sheriff’s office said.
Deputies found the child unresponsive after responding to a 911 call near E. 138th Avenue on Feb. 3.

Lopez, also known as Maria Jimenez Jimenez, was last seen in Las Vegas.
