GTE Financial Breaks Ground on Technology-Driven Center for St. Pete Community
GTE Financial breaks ground on an innovative, next-generation financial center in St. Petersburg this coming Monday, Sept. 26
It’s out with the old and in with the new for GTE Financial as it breaks ground on an innovative, next-generation financial center in St. Petersburg. The new center will be equipped with the latest cutting-edge banking technology, including OnScreen ITMs, and more. The 3,800+ square foot credit union will eventually replace the current building, which was established in 1976. The St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce, along with GTE executives will participate in the ground breaking ceremony at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, September 26, directly behind the current GTE location at 4584 38th Ave. North, St. Petersburg, FL 33713.
“We have been a part of the St. Petersburg community for decades and, over time, banking has evolved so we wanted to build a financial center that could meet the needs that active, busy members have today,” says Brian Best, president and CEO of GTE Financial. “Our first commitment has always been to serve our members and the community. Since we’re keeping the location the same, this center will continue to serve the members who have relied on us for so long while providing services that make banking easier, faster and more convenient,” added Best.
