Halfacre Construction Company begins construction on Eye Center, Inc. in Parrish

Halfacre Construction Company (www.HalfacreConstruction.com), the area’s oldest, most established, locally owned and operated private commercial construction company, recently began construction on a 7,000-square-foot, multi-tenant office building in Parrish, Fla.

Scheduled to be complete in July 2015, the project will take about six months from start to finish. The project includes site development and new construction of the building. Eye Center, Inc., the building owner and tenant of the largest office space at 3,200 square feet, will lease the remaining two spaces – one with 2,200 square feet and the other with 1,600.

Locally owned and operated, Eye Center, Inc. has been serving Manatee County for over 45 years in three locations – on Cortez Road and Manatee Avenue West in Bradenton and on US Highway 301 North in Parrish.

In 2008, Halfacre Construction Company remodeled Eye Center, Inc.’s Manatee Avenue location, gutting the existing building and redesigning it as an optometrists office. Now, the company is expanding from the Parrish location it opened in 2002 to better serve its clients in a building suited for them.

Currently located at 8947 US Hwy 301 N. in Parrish, Eye Center, Inc. will move across the street to its new building at 8312 US Hwy 301 N.
