
For the 4th consecutive year, the School District of Hillsborough County recognized Halfacre Construction Company as a Leading Construction Management firm in its Small Business Encouragement Program.
The awards ceremony, which took place on September 17th, 2013 identified Halfacre Construction as one of the district’s premier small business program participants for the 2012/13 fiscal year. The Encouragement Program is designed to reflect the diversity in the surrounding community while identifying leaders in small and minority/female owned businesses who take part in projects in the county.

“I was pleased to accept this award on behalf of Halfacre Construction. This is a great company to work for, and we appreciate being able to stay involved in our community with organizations like the Hillsborough County School District,” said Tom Rees, Project Manager for the Lakewood Ranch based commercial construction company. Rees was on hand to accept the award at the ceremony.
