Halfacre Construction Selected for MacDill Air Force Base Project

Halfacre Construction Company has been selected to start a new project at the Special Operations Detachment Center (SOD-C) facility for the Florida Department of Military Affairs at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Fla.

The Halfacre team will build an 8,200 square foot SOD-C Ready Building to house an office and meeting facility for the Florida Army National Guard. Halfacre was selected as the Design/Build firm for this project after recently successfully completing a storage facility at MacDill for the Florida Army National Guard.

“We have a long history of successful projects at MacDill,” said Jack Cox, president and CEO of the Lakewood Ranch based commercial construction company. “We are proud to serve the men and women who serve our country by helping with these projects including several other buildings and two Special Forces memorials. We look forward to a continued future partnership with the Florida Department of Military Affairs,” said Cox.
