Highway Patrol Seeks Help Finding Hit-And-Run Driver
The Florida Highway Patrol is looking for witnesses to a hit-and-run accident on State Road 54 in New Port Richey Sunday morning.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL - The Florida Highway Patrol is searching for a driver who struck a pedestrian on State Road 54 Sunday morning and then fled the scene.
According to Highway Patrol Trooper Nathan Sequeira, New Port Richey resident Randy Pearson, 58, was crossing SR 54 west of Pensdale Drive at 7:36 a.m. Sunday when an unknown vehicle hit him. Pearson sustained serious injuries and was taken to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point for treatment.
There was no description of the vehicle or driver provided so the highway patrol is asking witnesses to come forward.
