TAMPA, FL — By 2045, Tampa will see more than 108,000 additional residents, 77,000 new homes and 258,000 new jobs within the city limits.
The city is inviting residents to provide input on the challenges and opportunities of that growth as it updates the Tampa Comprehensive Plan through 2045.
Comprehensive plans are mandated by state law and are updated every seven years. This will be Tampa's sixth comprehensive plan.

The Hillsborough County City-County Planning Commission, in coordination with the Tampa Planning Department, is overseeing a multi-phased, multi-year project that will ultimately lead to in-depth revisions to the city’s Comprehensive Plan.
The city is seeking the input of residents by asking them to take the 2045 Vision Survey now.
