Ice Skate in Tampa Through the New Year
The rink has opened for business at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.

Tampa Bay area residents who want to get into the holiday spirit by sneaking in a little ice skating can get their fill through Jan. 4, 2015.
The ice skating rink at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, 600 N. Ashley Drive, is officially opened for business. Sponsored by the Tampa Bay Lightning, the rink is open seven days a week with exceptions for the actual holidays.
The schedule is as follows:

- Mondays through Thursdays â 4 to 9 p.m.
- Fridays â 4 to 10 p.m.
- Saturdays â 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Sundays â Noon to 9 p.m.
The cost is $10 per person, including skates, for 90 minutes of skate time.
Private parties can also be arranged.
