In a strategic move to better accommodate executive clients, Impact Health has opened a new location in Tampa’s Westshore business district. This is Impact Health’s second location; the first opened in Palm Harbor in 2005.
“Not only is this new location more convenient for our existing Tampa clients, but it also allows us to expand our client base of business professionals, who can really benefit from our Executive Health program,” said Joe Millen, PT, MTC, owner of Impact Health, a physical therapy and fitness training organization.
According to Millen, professionals spend a lot of time sitting and traveling, they’re typically under significant stress, they don’t always have time to exercise, and their health suffers because of it. Impact Health’s new location in Tampa is focused on giving executives a business plan for their health and the education and resources to live a longer, fuller and more productive life.

Charlie Mirabella, co-owner of Precision Orthopedics Inc. in Tampa, has been an Impact Health client for 10 years.
“I should probably be in better shape, I probably don’t stretch enough, but when I’m working it’s hard to find time to do everything I’m supposed to do to keep my back from going out,” said Mirabella, who had back surgery about 15 years ago and throws his back out from time to time. When that happens, his back spasms and he “walks sideways,” said Mirabella.

“Impact Health’s physical therapy is like nothing I’ve had done on my back before,” said Mirabella. “It was worth the drive to Palm Harbor to have Joe fix me up, but now the new location in Tampa is very convenient.”
In addition to providing therapy and fitness training onsite – the Tampa location includes access to a gym –Impact Health educates clients on how to take better care of themselves on an ongoing basis.
“Sometimes for work I have to stand or sit for long periods of time, and it bothers my back,” said Mirabella. “Joe teaches me stretches I should do and gives me tips on how I should stand to keep my back from hurting as much.”
Impact Health’s Tampa office is located in the Corporate Center One building at 2202 N Westshore Boulevard. The Westshore district is Florida’s largest office community, comprised of 4,000 businesses with more than 93,000 employees.
