J.E. Charlotte Construction Corp. donates to the Humane Society of Manatee County

J.E. Charlotte Construction Corp. recently donated $5,000 to the Humane Society of Manatee County.

J.E. Charlotte Construction Corp. (JECharlotte.com), a Venice-based construction company that provides a full range of services, recently donated $5,000 to the Humane Society of Manatee County, a nonprofit dedicated to providing critical life-saving sheltering, veterinary, adoption and humane education programs, making the company a Paw Partner sponsor for the year.

The donation will support the needs of the Humane Society of Manatee County and allow the nonprofit to care for more than 900 homeless dogs and cats.

“We could not provide the life-saving work that we do without the help of companies like J. E. Charlotte Construction Corp.,” said Amy Van Dell, executive director of the Humane Society of Manatee County. “Finding new homes for more 900 animals that have been rehabilitated to healthy, happy pets is not easy or inexpensive. In addition, our high-volume and low-cost clinic performed nearly 5,000 spay and neuter surgeries last year.”

J.E. Charlotte Construction Corp. recently began the facelift on an existing 10,000-square-foot building for the Humane Society of Manatee County. The $830,000 project has an estimated completion date of July 2015.

Located at 2415 14th St. W. in Bradenton, J.E. Charlotte Construction Corp. is completely gutting and renovating the interior and exterior of the standing building – an former Salvation Army retail store. The updated building, the third on campus of the nonprofit, will act as its expanded spay and neuter surgery center along with a low-cost wellness clinic and training room.
