J.E. Charlotte Construction Corp. hires Hoatland as superintendent

Bringing over 40 years of construction experience, Terry Hoatland recently joined the Venice-based J.E. Charlotte Construction Corp. (JECharlotte.com), a construction company that provides a full range of services, as a superintendent.

In his new role, Hoatland will serve as a project superintendent for some of J.E. Charlotte Construction Corp. projects, including the new Bayside Pet Resort in Osprey, Fla., a project J.E. Charlotte Construction Corp. broke ground on in March 2015. The $2.9 million facility will be a full-service resort for cats and dogs with lodging and grooming space, plus climate-controlled play rooms and outdoor play areas.

Prior to joining J.E. Charlotte Construction Corp., Hoatland worked for Benderson Development Company, Mike Carter Construction and a number of other construction companies throughout Florida. With a history of operation initiatives in the building and construction industries, he has experience managing numerous projects simultaneously while coordinating workers and schedules under tight timeframes and budgetary constraints.

Key projects that Hoatland has worked on include 10 four-story guest suites and buildings for Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, School of Arts in Bradenton, Kumo Steakhouse, Anna’s Deli and PetCo of Venice and Bradenton, among others.
