JUST IN: Homicide Investigation Underway In Tampa
The deceased male was discovered in a vehicle on Oakdale Avenue North.
TAMPA, FL - The Tampa Police Department is investigating the suspected homicide of a man found in his car this morning on the 2700 block of Oakdale Avenue North in Tampa.
A neighbor called 911 at 11 a.m. after noticing the man, who initially seemed to be passed out in his car, police said. Arriving officers determined there was upper body trauma that did not “appear to be a random act of violence,” and declared the case a homicide, the department said.
The victim was identified as Jarmaal Rumlin, 28, police said.
