Kanye West, Kim Kardashian Still Welcome in Florida, Judge Says

A Tampa U.S. District Judge denied a convicted sex offender's request to ban the famous couple from the Sunshine State.

Kim Kardashian and Kayne West might be the famous couple in Hollywood, but they shouldn’t be allowed in the Sunshine State.

At least that’s the contention of a man who filed an emergency restraining order, asking a Tampa federal judge to bar the couple’s entrance into the state and to stop them from appearing on Florida television, the Tampa Bay Times reported.

The suit alleges the two are the worst pair of role models in the history of the world.

“As an American citizen of this great country, the United States, I think it’s safe to say we as a country are sick and tired of the Kardashians and most of all Kimberly and her self proclaimed best rapper rockstar on the planet, Kanye West,” the paper quoted the suit as saying.

Interestingly enough, the Tampa lawsuit was filed by Wayne Richard Albright, a prisoner in the State Correctional Institution in Benner Township, Pa., Universal Hub reported.

Albright is a convicted sex offender, both publications state, who is serving time for failing to register as such.

It seems Albright is rather well known for filing unusual jailhouse lawsuits against celebrities. Earlier this year, he asked a U.S. District Court in Boston to stop the Weather Channel’s Jim Cantore from dancing on air. He also asked a Pennsylvania judge to boot “The Bachelor” from television because he felt it didn’t instill the right values in children, the Times noted.

As for Albright’s attempt to ban the famous couple from Florida, it never stood a chance.

U.S. District Judge Charlene Edward Honeywell issued a denial Wednesday, the Times reported. It seems Albright failed to show that the couple poses an immediate risk of her to him, plus he overlooked paying the filing fees.
