Kid Rock Making Tampa Tour Stop

Foreigner will open the $20 show this summer.

Tampa Bay area Kid Rock fans can take in a show on the cheap this summer thanks to the performer’s decision to host another special $20 tour.

The Detroit rocker announced the 36-date summer tour Tuesday, complete with a July 18 show at Tampa’s MidFlorida Amphitheatre. Foreigner is expected to open the shows throughout the tour.

Tickets for the Tampa show go on sale to the general public via www.LiveNation.com on Feb. 24. Fan Club members can purchase their tickets starting Feb. 19 and fans who preorder Kid Rock’s new album, “First Kiss,” will also be eligible for a special presale date on Feb. 20. Fan club membership information is available on Kid Rock’s website.

As it was with Kid Rock’s “$20 Best Night Ever” tour, this year’s shows will feature $20 special food packages and $4 draught beers. Tour T-shirts will cost only $20, according to a media release from Warner Bros. Records.
