Little Peeps and Magnolia Inspiring Interiors in the Southern Living Showcase Home

Little Peeps and Magnolia Inspiring Interiors, both of South Tampa, are Silver Partners for the Tampa Southern Living Showcase Home.  Little Peeps will design and furnish the nursery, and Magnolia Inspiring Interiors will design and furnish the master bedroom.  As a new home builder in Tampa, FL, it is a pleasure to work with these professionals at the Showcase Home.

Little Peeps, located on Dale Mabry right across from Plant High School, is a children’s boutique that specializes in clothing, furniture, bedding, and gifts.  For the Tampa Showcase Home, Little Peeps owners and sisters-in-law, Patti Thomas and Ashley Moran, will be designing a nursery.  With a bright pink and blue color palette, the ladies of Little Peeps will create a charming and elegant room for a newborn to rest.

Moran said, “Tampa is a very southern town and our Southern Living Showcase Home Nursery will include what we have loved most through the years designing with our clients.  With a fresh palette and a cool mix of funky modern accents and classic Hollywood Regency inspired furnishings this room will showcase what is most fun about designing in the South!”

Magnolia Inspiring Interior’s owner, Jeff Avery, is no stranger to Southern Living.  His personal home renovation of a Hyde Park Bungalow was featured in the magazine twice.  Magnolia Inspiring Interiors, also located in Hyde Park, offers furniture, lighting, original art, gifts, and accessories.  Avery also offers full personal design services.

Avery and his team will design the master bedroom in the Tampa Southern Living Showcase Home.  Jeff’s tasteful and elegant approach to coastal design is a great match for the West Indies style home. As quoted in Coastal Living, Southern Living’s sister magazine, Jeff said, "Coastal style has evolved.  Now, it's more subtle and sophisticated.  You can set a soothing seaside tone without being predictable.  I stay away from the seaside decor that's too obvious or over-the-top."  The master bedroom in the Showcase Home will feature a stately king size bed, seating area, and custom ceiling treatments.

The 2014 Southern Living Showcase Home, designed and constructed by Tampa custom home builder, Javic Homes, will be open to the public for 7 weeks in Spring 2014.  The nearly 5,000 square foot home sits on the waterfront in the Beach Park neighborhood of South Tampa.  All proceeds from charged admission will benefit our two charitable partners, Operation FINALLY Home and All Children’s Hospital.
