Tracy Eisnaugle, a local Sarasota-based Realtor will unveil her new book, “Moving to Sarasota, The Un-Tourist Guide”, with a launch party open to the public and the media at the Sarasota Association of Realtors building on October 10th from 5pm -7pm.
Eisnaugle completed the book in just less than one year. She took on the project to give residents and people moving to the area a fun and fact-filled guide to making Sarasota their home while providing information about just what future residents need to settle in comfortably and quickly.
“My goal with this book is to help people make the most of our magnificent Suncoast community as soon as they move here,” said Eisnaugle. “I can see Realtors sending this guide out to prospects who are thinking about a move or giving it to clients as a closing gift. It’s not your typical tourist guide- it’s real information from a real person who has lived here and enjoyed our amenities for a long time,” she said.

Eisnaugle wrote all the copy in the book herself and gathered all of the photos in the book. The guide is the perfect tool to help people: Choose the right place to live, determine the right schools for kids, find the best shops for every need, figure out how to enjoy leisure time, and to assimilate quickly within the community.
Tracy Eisnaugle’s professional background, education, and personal experience as a longtime Sarasota resident culminated in her embracing the book project when contacted by the series publisher, Newt Barrett with Voyager Media, Inc. After earning her degree in Interior Design from Florida State University, Eisnaugle spent years as a successful designer in Sarasota working in high-end residential design, model merchandising, and managing a design center for “America’s Best Builder,” Lee Wetherington Homes. She next applied her creative mind to writing real estate-related copy, marketing material and articles before deciding to become a real estate agent herself.
