Spirit of the Buffalo Pow Wow
The 28th annual Spirit of the Buffalo Pow Wow and Native American Festival at the International Market World Flea and Farmers Market in Auburndale takes place Friday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event features Native American crafts, intertribal dance competitions, historic village displays, workshops and over 60 exhibitors.

Sarasota Seafood & Music Festival
This seafood and music festival takes place Friday, 4 to 10 p.m.; Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at JD Hamel Park.
Tampa Bay Rodeo’s Bull Bash & Country Music Festival
The Bull Bash and Country Music Festivaltakes place Friday and Saturday and features bull riding and country music, with John Michael Montgomery performing Saturday night. Gates open at 5 p.m. on both days. The Bull Bash starts at 7:30 p.m.
Kumquat Festival
This annual Kumquat Festival in Dade City features food, arts and craft vendors, and plenty of information about kumquats.
Gasparilla Festival
The 2024 Seminole Hard Rock Gasparilla Pirate Fest takes place Saturday in Tampa. Since 1904, this Tampa tradition has celebrated the mythical pirate Jose Gaspar with a pirate invasion of the city, a parade, live music and other events.
This year’s festival takes place Jan. 27, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., with the invasion sailing into the Tampa Convention Center basin from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Gasparilla Invasion Brunch is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Tampa Convention Center and the Parade of Pirates marching down Bayshore Boulevard along Hillsborough Bay through downtown Tampa from 2 to 5:30 p.m.
Live entertainment takes the stage at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park and MacDill Park from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. before and after the parade.
Pinellas Taco Fest
The third annual Pinellas Taco Fest is set for Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at England Brothers Park in Pinellas Park. There will be contests, food available to purchase, fundraisers, live music and more.
India’s 75th Republic Day
The Federation of India Associations (FIA) of Tampa Bay will hold India’s 75th Republic Day celebration on Sunday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the India Cultural Center in Tampa. The lively and free event includes cultural programs; competitions in art, essay writing, patriotic dress, music, rangoli and cooking; blood drive; food booths, clothing and jewelry stalls.
United Walk of Peace
This walk, starting at Pioneer Park in Dunedin on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. promotes peace and mutual respect.
