Mailman Killed In Hit-And-Run Crash: Tampa Police
Detectives are looking for the driver of a Mercedes that killed a mailman in a hit-and-run crash Monday, Tampa police said.

TAMPA, FL — A mailman was killed in a hit-and-run crash Monday afternoon at the intersection of N. River Cove Street and N. Mulberry Street, according to a Tampa Police Department news release.
A dark-colored Mercedes sedan hit the United States Postal Service truck, leaving the scene after the crash, just before 3 p.m.
The Mercedes with damage consistent with the crash was found about half a mile from the site.

The postal carrier was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
He was later identified as 69-year-old Paul Falica, Fox 13 reported.

Detectives are working to identify the driver and arrest the suspect.
