HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — A Wimauma man is dead following a two-car crash in Hillsborough County on Friday, according to state police.Authorities said the 44-year-old man was driving a GMC Envoy east on State Road 674 shortly before 3 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve west of Carlton Branch Drive. Police said he entered the westbound lane and collided nearly head-on with a GMC Yukon driven by a 58-year-old Plant City woman.The man died at the scene, police said. The driver of the Yukon and its passenger, an 81-year-old Plant City woman, suffered minor injuries.

In addition to entertainment and thrill rides, entry to Busch Gardens July 4-6 during the 4th of July Celebration includes a dazzling fireworks display at the festival field. The show is “a perfectly choreographed arrangement of music and lights” with a patriotic grand finale, according to the website. The fireworks display is included with park entry.
