Man Secretly Recorded Women, Deputies Say
The Clearwater man was jailed Wednesday on charges originating in Hillsborough County.

TAMPA, FL — A 42-year-old Clearwater man faces a number of criminal charges after Hillsborough County deputies say he spied on a woman in her bedroom and bathroom using a camera and also used the webcam on her laptop computer to capture images of her.
The arrest of Joshua Fallon was announced by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Wednesday following an investigation that kicked off in October 2015. Deputies aren’t saying where in Hillsborough County the alleged voyeurism occurred, but said Fallon’s recordings revealed more than one victim.
“Detectives also discovered two other females caught on video in various situations where there would be an expectation of privacy,” an email from the sheriff’s office said. “Video was recovered that showed the suspect sneaking into the bedroom of one female victim while she slept and he removed her underwear exposing her and touching her while she slept and she was unaware.”

Some of the video footage dates back to 2013, the sheriff’s office said. Fallon reportedly lived in Hillsborough County at that time. Deputies say Fallon knew all the victims.
Fallon was brought into custody at his workplace in Pinellas County on Wednesday. He now faces one count of sexual battery, seven counts of video voyeurism and three counts of interception of oral communication, the sheriff’s office reported.
