Men Who Shot 7 People Outside Cigar & Martini Lounge Sought By Police

Tampa police believe a 21-year-old Wimauma man and another man was involved in the shooting that killed one and injured six people.

TAMPA, FL — Tampa police have obtained an arrest warrant for a 21-year-old Wimauma man accused of taking part in a shooting in the parking lot of a lounge that killed a 30-year-old man and injured six others Sunday.

Detectives are also working to identify a second man.

An arrest warrant has been obtained for Damaso Bravo on three counts of aggravated battery and a charge of felon in possession of a firearm, according to police.

Just before 3 a.m. Sunday, Tampa police responded to a report of shots fired near at the lounge. Officers arrived to find one man dead from a gunshot wound. Four other men and two women were taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

According to police, there was an argument between two groups of people inside the lounge, and the management escorted both groups out of the lounge, where the fight escalated in the parking lot to gunshots.

Tampa police detectives believe Bravo and another man opened fire on one of the groups.

Police obtained a photo of Bravo and enhanced surveillance photos of the other man they said was involved in the shooting.

Anyone who recognizes the unknown man or has information on Bravo's whereabouts is asked to call the Tampa Police Department at 813-231-6130 or share a tip via Tip411, which is accessible through the TampaPD app.

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is also offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest of Bravo. An enhanced award of up to $9,500 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of the unidentified man.
