Seafood Cuisine To Be Offered At New Water Street Eatery
Water Street Tampa will welcome Predalina, a new restaurant and boutique home decor concept by Tampa-based company Oxford Commons.
TAMPA, FL — Expanding the diverse dining options within Water Street Tampa, Strategic Property Partners LLC announced the addition of Predalina, a new restaurant and boutique home decor concept by Tampa-based hospitality company Oxford Commons.
Predalina will be located along Water Street on the ground floor of Cora, a new residential development. The restaurant will offer Mediterranean seafood cuisine and is slated to open in early 2023.
“As Water Street Tampa continues to take shape, it’s important for us to carefully select retailers that we know will enhance the daily lives of district residents, office workers and visitors,” said Lee Schaffler, chief portfolio officer for SPP, the developer of the live-work-play mixed-used community in downtown Tampa. “Working with Oxford Commons was a natural fit, and we’re excited to introduce this new dining and unique shopping experience to the Tampa community.”

The space is being designed by NAINOA Architecture & Interiors and Smith Dalia Architects, two celebrated firms known for designing hospitality, residential and commercial projects throughout the country.
Predlina owners Blake Casper and Allison Adams are known for their collection of successful restaurants and retail shops throughout Tampa, including Oxford Exchange, The Library and The Stovall House.
The new restaurant celebrates the long, full life of Casper and Adams’ great-grandmother. Born in Brazil, raised in Portugal and eventually settling in Rhode Island, Predalina Oliviera lived to 101 — and always cherished life by the sea.
As a nod to Predalina’s love of waterfront living, the restaurant will focus on fresh, seafood Mediterranean cuisine.
Predalina will also offer in-house retail, with products such as custom handcrafted tabletop wares, unique home décor and special gifts.
“We are excited to be part of Water Street Tampa, where the energy is created by incredible architecture and the best of local and national chefs,” said Allison Adams, owner of Predalina. “The docks and shipping industry played a pivotal role in Tampa’s development, and Predalina’s seafood-driven menu and dynamic design will marry Tampa’s historic fishing industry with Water Street Tampa’s vision for the future.”
Located on the ground floor of Cora along the neighborhood’s namesake street, Predalina adds another dining option to the growing number of people who live and work in Water Street Tampa.
The restaurant and retail shop will complement Water Street Tampa’s growing retail landscape, which will be home to Boulon Brasserie, Wagamama, Naked Farmer, The Pearl, Small Giant Bar & Restaurant, Wine on Water, Chill Bros. Scoop Shop and MiniLuxe, along with the currently open GreenWise Market.
Spanning 56 acres and connecting Tampa’s central business district to its waterfront, Water Street Tampa is complemented by new public parks, homes and offices. To date, SPP has signed leases with more than 30 retailers throughout Water Street Tampa, securing national, regional and local concepts ranging from a full-service grocery store to several popular fitness brands to locally owned boutiques.
