TAMPA, FL — Next Level Brands will open its third restaurant concept — Boulon Brasserie — to be located in the $3 billion live-work-play development, Water Street Tampa.

Next Level Brands is a partnership of former co-founder of the Ciccio Restaurant Group Jeff Gigante, real estate entrepreneur Andrew Wright and attorney/investor Joseph Guggino.

This week, the group revealed plans to open Boulon Brasserie in the summer of 2022. The opening marks Next Level Brands' second new restaurant announcement in under a year.

The partners already announced the opening of Union New American in Tampa’s Westshore District. They had hoped to open this fall but Gigante said it's been delayed until March or April.

Their popular Hyde Park eatery, Forbici Modern Italian, opened in 2019.

Boulon Brasserie will be located at 1001 Water St. on the ground floor of Thousand & One, Water Street Tampa’s trophy office tower that opened last summer. The building is located at the center of Water Street Tampa, the 56-acre mixed-use walkable, community-oriented development.

The district is bringing new homes, offices, retail, restaurants and green space to the heart of Tampa.

With 7,097-square-feet of interior design space brought to life by award-winning, Montreal-based architects, Atelier Zebulon Perron (also tapped to design Union New American), the restaurant will reflect the design-forward identity that Strategic Property Partners, the developer of Water Street Tampa, has established for the new waterfront district.

“We all share the same vision at Next Level Brands,” said Gigante, “To elevate the culinary landscape of Tampa Bay by creating a collection of beautiful and authentic restaurants. Our vision of immersive dining is the perfect complement to the experiential nature of Water Street Tampa.”

Boulon Brasserie will pay homage to the French bistro, where good food, good wine and better company come together to create joie de vivre.

Three district dining experiences – restaurant, bar and cafĂ© – lend to an all-day menu that captures breakfast, lunch and dinner. Boulon’s menu will highlight locally sourced ingredients, fresh-caught seafoods and modern interpretations of classic French pastries.

“This is poised to be one of the most iconic spaces in the country and these hospitality veterans are building something great here,” said Wright, CEO/managing partner of Franklin Street. “I’m just excited to be along for the ride and take the restaurant scene to the next level.”

Next Level Brands Holdings LLC will be a collection of innovative dining experiences designed to elevate the culinary landscape of Tampa Bay. Inspired by the culture of hospitality, concepts will be warm and inviting gathering spaces with innovative cuisine and first-class service.
