Mixologists Compete To Create Tampa's Signature Cocktail

TAMPA, FL — Tampa residents are invited to watch mixologists vie to create Tampa's official cocktail during the Crafting Tampa’s Cocktail Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Winter Village at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.

With Super Bowl LV coming to Tampa in February 2021, Tampa Mayor Jane Castor wants to put Tampa best drink forward and is calling on top mixologists to help create Tampa's signature drink, one that will represent the unique ethnic and cultural blend that makes up Tampa.

Crafting Tampa’s Cocktail is a socially distant and live-streamed competition. Local mixologists will use their creativity and acumen to craft what they believe should be the signature drink of Tampa.

A panel of judges will help narrow down the final contenders, which will be served at Winter Village so the community can help select the winner.
