Motorcyclist in 'Guarded Condition' Following Shooting

The incident happened Wednesday evening.

A 23-year-old man remains in guarded condition at Tampa General Hospital after police say he was shot while riding his motorcycle near the intersection of North Cord Street and East 21st Avenue Wednesday evening.

The incident unfolded around 8:15 p.m. when someone fired shots at Jarrod Tyrone Coachman Jr. Coachman was shot multiple times and crashed his bike as a result, Tampa Police wrote in an email to media.

The incident remains under investigation with no further details available at this time.
