New Surveillance Video Could Be Key To Catching Thieves

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is hoping newly released surveillance video helps catch two thieves.

TAMPA, FL -- The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is hoping newly released surveillance video helps catch two thieves. The face of one of the suspects is clearly visible in the recently obtained video.

Two men burglarized vehicles in the area of Seafairer Drive and Leeward Isle Way in Town N' Country in the early morning hours on June 24.

In the newly released surveillance video, one burglar can be seen entering an unlocked car and rummaging through it. Another is seen riding a bicycle in the background.

The two eventually steal a vehicle and drive away in it, traveling south on Seafairer Drive toward W. Hillsborough Avenue.

One man is black or Hispanic with a thin build, approximately 6 feet tall and 180 to 200 pounds. The other is a black or Hispanic man with a thin build, approximately 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall and 160 to 180 pounds.
