Now, Datz A Big Meatball
For National Meatball Day, Datz is serving up a 1-pound meatball stuffed with spaghetti, covered in pomodoro sauce and Parmesan cheese.

TAMPA, FL — Meatball lovers unite. National Meatball Day is around the corner on March 9.
Tampa and St. Pete’s beloved restaurant, Datz, that serves comfort food with flair, is serving up a ginormous, 1-pound meatball stuffed with spaghetti, covered in pomodoro sauce and Parmesan cheese to celebrate this great American food holiday. The dish is usually priced at $18, but on March 9, price will be cut in half.
Datz’s kitchen manager Angel Campos said the inspiration for this dish came from wanting to do something extra large and Datz-esque so that it would be more fun to eat while maintaining the comfort and quality of Mom’s old-fashioned spaghetti and meatballs. The dish uses certified Angus beef for the meatball, and is an 80/20 blend - perfect for flavor.
