Here's Where You Can Get Food For Your Child In Hillsborough
To ensure that children age 18 and under have the nutritional food they need, Feeding Tampa Bay is hosting Breakspot Meal Sites.

TAMPA BAY, FL — It's difficult enough being stuck at home during the mandated stay-at-home orders without also going hungry. To ensure that children age 18 and under have the nutritional food they need during the coronavirus pandemic, Feeding Tampa Bay is hosting Breakspot Meal Sites.
Sites serve daily Monday through Friday (unless otherwise noted) in a drive-thru model for safety. Sites only open once a week will provide five takeaway meals on the day they serve.
Parents whose children are unable to attend will be accommodated to pick up meals for their children.

Buses are also transporting foods into specific neighborhoods for pick up every Wednesday. Each student will receive a bag of food that needs to be refrigerated, and one that can stay at room temperature.
It's important to note that these food bags will weigh more than 10 pounds together. If you are walking up or riding a bike to a Grab-and-Go site, have your child bring their empty backpack to provide a simple way to transport the food.
Families can also pick up light snacks at all 147 Grab-and-Go sites on Mondays between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
These snacks will also be available at more than 300 bus stops around the district.
