Plant High Threats Under Investigation By Police, FBI
Three threats have been made against the Tampa school this week.

TAMPA, FL — After Plant High School students faced their third modified campus lockdown in a week on Friday morning, the Tampa Police Department is assuring parents the situation is under investigation.
“We will continue to work with the FBI and school security to determine the origin of today’s call and if it is related to the calls earlier in the week,” the agency said in a statement released to media.
A student was questioned following the Friday morning threat against the school, the agency noted. That student, however, has not been charged.

The week of lockdowns began Monday when a bomb threat was called into the school office. A similar situation unfolded on Wednesday. While no threat was found, a student on Wednesday was charged for leaving hunting weapons in his vehicle parked on campus. Wednesday’s threat and the weapons discovery are not believed to be related, police said.
Friday’s threat was called into the police department itself.
