Police: Elderly Woman Killed in Tampa Home

Body was found Saturday night, according to Tampa Police. Investigators are hoping the public can provide tips.

Detectives are hoping that the public can help identify the person responsible for the death of an elderly Tampa woman found in her home Saturday night, according to Tampa Police.

Officers responded at 9 p.m. to the home at 1808 East Osborne Avenue. The resident, Loretta Jackson, 78, was found with upper body trauma, according to police.

There was evidence someone had forced his/her way into the home. Detectives suspect foul play and are looking for anyone with information on this murder.
