With extensive experience owning and operating more than 60 restaurant locations across a variety of brands, Mike Daner, operating partner at STA Management, is well-equipped to spearhead Potbelly's Tampa expansion.

"We are excited to bring our second location to Tampa Bay. Now, Potbelly will be even more convenient for fans who love our toasty sandwiches, crisp salads, hand dipped shakes and our freshly baked cookies," said Daner. "I am confident that this new location will become a go-to mealtime destination for even more Tampa-area residents."

The 44-year-old sandwich shop was founded by Peter Hastings in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago, and now there are more than 250 shops across the nation.

Potbelly's credits its success to flavorful sandwiches made from fresh ingredients including Potbelly's signature “A Wreck” sub stuffed with Black Angus roast beef, Old World salami, oven-roasted turkey breast, hickory-smoked ham and melted Swiss cheese.

Other sandwich favorites include the Pizza Melt, the BLTA (the "A" is fresh-sliced avocado), Mama's Meatball and the Mediterranean.

Salad offerings include Apple Walnut Salad, the Farmhouse Salad (Potbelly's version of a Brown Derby Salad), the Powerhouse Salad with hummus and avocado, and a Chicken Salad Salad.

Potbelly's also offers mac 'n' cheese and soups ranging from spicy chili to chicken pot pie to loaded baked potato.

Dessert options include shakes (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, oreo), Dream bars and oatmeal chocolate chip, sugar and chocolate brownie cookies.

The location's hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

Delivery, order ahead, catering and the Potbelly Perks reward program are available through Potbelly.com or the Potbelly app.
