Rhapsody in Verse: The Voice of Great Poets on Time, Love, and Nature

Witness the theatrical performance of classical poetry at the Jan Platt Library in South Tampa on Thursday, May 14, 2015 @ 7:00 pm.

Come to the Jan Platt Library on Thursday, May 14 at 7:00pm to witness University of Tampa Professor Bob Gonzalez present a rhapsody: classic poetry selections “stitched together” with original commentary, introductions, and transitions. This unique presentation, featuring the works of Shakespeare, Spenser, Pope, Keats, Coleridge, Blake, Shelley, Wordsworth, Tennyson, Whitman, Dickinson, and Frost, to name a few, is performed like a theatrical play and encourages the performance of classic poetry.

The Jan Kaminis Platt Regional Library is located at 3910 S Manhattan Ave., Tampa, Florida 33611. Please contact adult programming librarian Matthew Deihl at 813-273-3652 if you have any questions about this or other events at the Jan Platt Library. Free
