Disney Sweatshirt Recall: Did you Buy This? Return it ASAP

ANAHEIM, CA — Disney Consumer Products has listed an infant Mickey Mouse Hoodie Sweatshirt and Minnie Mouse Hoodie Sweatshirt for immediate recall.

"The infant hoodie sweatshirts have snap closures that could detach from the infant hoodie sweatshirt and cause a small parts choking hazard," the company said in a recent announcement.

The clothing which sold at both the Anaheim Disneyland Resort stores and the Lake Buena Vista, Florida Walt Disney World Disney stores as well as the Shop Disney Parks App online stores originally retailed for $29.95.

The refund for returning the sweatshirts to Disney will be $40, according to Disney Consumer Products release.

Though no injuries have been reported with the sweatshirts, guests were guided to not use them.

"Guests should immediately remove the Infant Hoodie Sweatshirt from the child and return for the $40 refund," Disney Parks and Resorts stated.

"This recall is being conducted in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
