Sarasota County has selected Lakewood Ranch based Halfacre Construction to renovate all of the plumbing at the Terrace Building on US 41 in Sarasota. The building, originally constructed in the 1920’s, is currently undergoing a generator replacement project by the Halfacre team and the plumbing renovation will begin in March.
“Our team has a lot of experience inside this building because of the current project we are working on,” said Jack Cox, president of the commercial construction company. “We are proud that our past work spoke for itself and we have been selected again to continue renovations in this historic building. Our goal is to complete the task safely and as quickly as possible with minimal disruptions to the staff and the public using the many services offered throughout the building,” said Cox.
Every bathroom in the building will be renovated starting with the top floors and business will remain open during the entire renovation. The project is expected to take about 12 months and people can keep track of the progress on the Halfacre Construction Facebook page or the company’s blog.
