Slight Warming in Time for The Weekend

Jackets might still be in order for the overnight hours in Tampa Bay.

Tampa Bay area residents hoping for a mild weekend in the weather department might just get their wish.

According to the National Weather Service, the Bay area is in for a slightly warmer weekend with scant chances for rain in the forecast. Overnight lows, however, are still expected to be chilly.

Friday’s high of 65 will be capped off with a low in the upper 40s. A clearing out of clouds is also expected on Friday, giving way to a mostly sunny Saturday with a high in the lower 70s. overnight lows Saturday are expected to dip into the mid-50s.

Sunday is expected to deliver more sunshine with a high in the low 70s anticipated and a low around 49.

Monday’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday is expected to be bright and sunny. The temperatures might be a little cooler though. A high only around 65 is anticipated.
